The Whistle blew, the call went out,
A Fire! A Fire! That's what it was about !

The children cried, the women shivered as with cold,
As their men went out to fight ever so bold.

Save the farms, save the fields, save it all if you can.
Save the homes, save the families...save the land!

Those years ago a new family started to grow,
A family of volunteers - their bravery to show!

Today without these men and woman, where would you and I be...?
We would be like a ship without a rudder-cast about in the sea.

So for 100 years ago, yesterday and today,
We stand together as we proudly say...

Volunteer Firefighters Brave and True,
We stand in honor and awe of EACH of YOU !
