
HERITAGE HEIGHTS FIRE
For the second time in one week the Granbury Firefighters were first in a working house fire. At approximately 6:15 PM on July 19with temperatures around 104 degrees the GVFD and Hood County Units were toned for a residential structure fire in the Heritage Heights area off of State Hwy 144. Engine 4 was first on scene with the fire extended well into the attic. Engine 4 and Engine 6 firefighters extended a 2" attack line knocking down the main body of the fire in the bedroom and attic. Engine 51 supplied Engine 4 during operations. Several other GVFD units were on scene as well as the Tolar, Indian Harbor and Pecan's Rehab Unit. 751 (Bennet) had Command.
